Corrections
We publish timing data, and timing data changes. When we get something wrong, or a source updates, we fix the article and log the change here with the date. This page is deliberately public.
If you have spotted an error, please tell us. Reader reports are how most corrections start.
How a correction works
- We confirm the issue against the primary source (NOAA/NWS normals, the USDA map, or the named extension program).
- We update the article and change its “Last verified” date.
- We add a dated line to the log below describing what changed.
A correction is a substantive change to a date, range, or claim. Fixing a typo that does not change meaning is not logged.
